So you want to be a educated and an informed pet owner.   Most people who go to a vets go to have their routine vaccinations.

Lets just say STOP the MADNESS and get EDUCATED!  If you take the routine vaccinations away from the vets what happens to the vets livelihood?  Think about what other things do you go to the vet for?

I'm not saying that you shouldn't go to the vets EVERY year for a routine check-up.  That is for your dogs health and wellness and to better detect anything that might be going on.

Compare the canine vaccines to the human vaccines.  Do we get vaccinated every year?  "NO", So why should we be subjecting the health and the life of our canines to this.

Take Control of your vet care!  Get Educated, Learn the Facts and then go to the vets armed with this information to better protect your furkids.  Here you will find links to Vaccinations what the New protocols and other educational links.

Take The Titer Test

Some of this information will present an ethical & economic challenge  to vets, and there will be skeptics. Some organizations have come  up with a political compromise suggesting vaccinations every 3 years to  appease those who fear loss of income vs. those concerned about  potential side effects.   Politics, traditions, or the doctor's economic well being should not be  a factor in medical decision.

I'm Not a anti-vet person.  I just want vets to take a stand with the Oath they gave when becoming a vet.  Hold them to this oath and make them responsible for the wellbeing of your animals.

I will practice my profession conscientiously, with dignity and in keeping with the principles of veterinary medical ethics.

I accept as a lifelong obligation the continual improvement of my professional knowledge and competence.
